Throughout the last 35 years, we have entertained numerous types of events, including corporate retreats, family weekends, movie productions, and of course… weddings! Weddings are particularly special occasions here on our premises. Waldemar is the ideal setting for couples who want to create a unique experience for themselves and their guests.
Accommodations
The elegantly rustic stone cabins provide comfortable accommodations for one to eight people. The cabins have air conditioning and heat and are decorated in a southwestern motif with handmade furniture, Saltillo tile and large porches. We can accommodate up to 180 guests in private, double, multiple (up to eight people), and deluxe accommodations. Deluxe accommodations are furnished with larger beds, upgraded linens, and minimal daily housekeeping. All guest accommodation rates include breakfast and lunch on Saturday and brunch on Sunday.
Cuisine
Waldemar is well known for its culinary delights. We have always used a talented base of gourmet chefs. Whether your menu is steeped in Texas tradition or distinctively international, quality is first and foremost in the Waldemar kitchen. It is our objective to prepare meals that are both delicious to taste and beautiful to see. We can cater any Friday night meal to include a welcome or rehearsal dinner as well as after parties. Our chef can also prepare snack options for guests. For reception meal, we recommend contacting us for our list of approved caterers. Should you wish to use an alternative caterer, please obtain prior approval from Waldemar before booking.
Activities
Surround your event with camp activities. Activities available to our guests include canoeing, stand up paddle boards, swimming, paddle boats, a 3-par golf hole, tennis, hiking, volleyball, badminton & basketball. We can also line a kickball field upon request.
Horseback riding, archery & spa services are available for an additional cost and dependent on availability of additional staff.
