Packing for Camp

Packing & Luggage Information

We have provided the clothing and equipment list for both Long and Short Terms. This is a minimum of clothing. All clothing and equipment must be marked permanently with names. Do not send valuable jewelry, cameras, equipment, expensive clothing, etc. as camp is not responsible for losses of such items.

Short Term Packing List

– 2 white shirts
– 2 white shorts
– 6 to 8 shirts
– 6 to 8 shorts
– Swim caps (brightly colored)
– Beach towel
– Cover up (optional)
– Swim goggles (optional)
– 2 sets of sleepwear
– 8 to 10 pairs of inexpensive underwear
– 8 to 10 pairs of socks
– 1 pair of tennis shoes
– 1 pair of river shoes or rubber sole shoes. Flips flops are discouraged.
– Tennis racket (if taking the class)
– 1 stuffed animal*
– Shoe bag
– Shower caddy for bathroom
– Plastic soap dish
– Toothbrush
– Hair brush
– Body wash
– Other toiletries
– Drinking cup or water bottle
– Flashlight
– Laundry bag with full name printed on outside
– 2 towels
– 2 washcloths
– 2 sets of twin size sheets
– 2 fitted sheets
– 2 pillow cases
– Pillow
– 1 twin size bed spread (not bulky comforter)
– Raincoat and/or umbrella
– Bathrobe
– Light jacket or sweater
– Small tote, backpack or duffel (for carrying items to classes)

*You may bring only one stuffed animal. An additional stuffed animal can be bought from the Camp Store.

Long Term Packing List

– 4 white shorts
– 4 white shirts
– 8 colored shorts (Including tribal shorts)
– 10 athletic tops. (Including tribal shirts)
– 2 swimsuits (one must be a one-piece for relay races)
– Swim caps (brightly colored)
– Beach towel
– Cover up (optional)
– Swim goggles (optional)
– 2 sets of pajamas
– 2 pair of tennis shoes (one white pair). No leather soled sandals or top sliders; they are not appropriate footwear for hills.
– 1 pair of sandals or river shoes
– 8 to 10 pair of inexpensive underwear
– 8 to 10 pair of socks
– Bathrobe
– Light jacket or sweater
– Raincoat and/or umbrella
If taking riding camper will need:
-2 to 3 pairs of jeans or riding pants
– Boots. It is a good idea to break in boots before coming to camp.
– Riding helmet. Parents, please have your camper try on her new helmet
for the right fit. If she is using one from past summers, make sure she
has not outgrown it. 




– 4 towels

– 2 twin size sheet sets
– 2 pillow cases
– 1 Pillow
– 1 twin size bed spread (not bulky comforter)
– 2 laundry bags with drawstrings (first and last names on outside)
– Shoe bag
– Plastic soap dish
– Toothbrush

– Shampoo, deodorant, tampons, pads, etc.
– Cosmetics
– Water bottle
– Flashlight
Optional items:
– Golf clubs if left-handed and taking golf  (right-handed clubs furnished)
– Disposable camera (no digital)
– Polaroid cameras and film
– Cards and quiet games
– Hair accessories
– Clipboard, notebook and pens
– 1 stuffed animal
– Three corner pillow
– Basic toiletries
– Extra batteries
– Stamps and stationery
